Shifting Paths
This mid-century home located across from the Greene shopping center sits on a hill at the corner of two streets. The main focus of the project was to improve the curb appeal of the home by replacing and replanting the front walk. This also included rebuilding two retaining walls along the lower driveway so that it would match the new walkway.
Our client had only just moved in a couple years prior, the front path had continued to fall apart over time making it dangerous to walk on. They also were looking for a refresh on their vegetation. The existing path had odd elevations and was much too close to the house.
Our team replaced the crumbling pathway with one that matched the style of the home. This new pathway was shifted around the home to allow for larger planting beds to allow for depth to be added to the home. The walk also features an accompanying wall that guides the visitor to the entryway.
