The Best Treatment for Emerald Ash Borer
Siebenthaler’s uses the #1 treatment option called Tree-age. It is a 99% effective injection that is good for a full 3 years- the only option that is good for more than 1 year.
The Risk
100% of this treatment gets into the tree, so there is no overspray and minimal environmental risk compared to other treatments. It is safe for pets and children in your yard.
The Timing
The injections can be made any non-drought time during the growing season once the leaves are near full size. The ideal times are late spring and mid fall.
The Cost
Prices range from $15 per inch in diameter measured at breast height (DBH). This is different than some soil drenches which measure in circumference. The price depends on number and size of trees. These prices are very reasonable, when considering they are good for 2 full years with 99% effectiveness.
