Le jardin

Our client purchased this lovely home that was the home of his childhood friend, where he spent many hours in childhood play. He has traveled the world extensively and desired to have a french formal garden that included raised patios, a water feature, fire pit and cutting garden. Since the landscape had been somewhat neglected of the years, much of the existing was removed, leaving us with a wonderful pool house, and aged stone wall to work around.  We started with masonry raised patio and planters with natural limestone caps and authentic slate pavers, added boxwood hedges sheared with arches, tree form lilacs, and an array of perennials to create a glorious French country garden. Plans include an alle of pleached Linden trees leading to a small field of lavender to complete the charm of a the  Provonce.
