Level Up
This client reached out to us because their front garden was looking tired and in need of renovation. They were interested in removing the old plant material and dated plastic edging and replacing them with curb appeal plantings while leveling out the grade as it falls away from the house on the left side. Natural limestone outcroppings were used to construct a small wall, with a serviceberry planted in the middle to add scale and balance while looking at the home from the street. A mix of shrubs and perennials with sequenced flowering times, complementary colors, and contrasting textures and shapes are layered throughout the beds with smaller elements in the front and taller in the back. While the client is prepared to maintain the garden herself, the plant choices are low maintenance, allowing for time to enjoy it.
