Description
Small, rare, oriental maple adaptable to open or partially shaded sites in most soils from dry to moist. Leaves are 5 to 7 lobed with a downy underside and are displayed upon attractive red stems that add to year round interest, especially during winter. The unique flowers are held upright on the branches. Useful as a specimen in garden settings.
