Description
Upright, vase shaped, small tree. Branching is sparse. Foliage emerges in spring a deep maroon, maturing in summer to glossy deep red, reverting to shades of crimson in the fall. On mature plants the leaves are strongly convex, presenting a unique texture. Provide protection from afternoon sun and winter winds.
