Description
Heart Throb? Dogwood is a rounded, tiered deciduous small tree. Blooms in early summer with huge showy, deep rosy pink flowers which last several weeks followed by edible, red, raspberry shaped fruits. Foliage is lustrous and dark green, becoming scarlet in the fall. Slow growing. Attracts birds. Deer resistant. Attractive mottled, exfoliating bark shows on mature trees.
