Description
The gold variegation stands out well against the dark green leaves. Considered semi-evergreen, in that in mild winters this shrub will hold most of its leaves. A loose habit means it can be grown pruned or unpruned, depending on the gardener’s taste. The flowers are insignificant, but are visited by small fly-like insects. The fruit has a pink capsule that can be interesting.
