Dear Siebenthaler Customer,

As you have heard, the invasive pest known as the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is expanding closer to us each season. This pest is a terrible threat for two reasons: first, it can and will kill a perfectly healthy ash tree; second, it has no known effective predator here. Luckily, Michigan State University has found that the Emerald Ash Borer can be effectively treated with certain pesticide injections.

At some point every ash tree owner will have to make a decision whether to treat their trees or to replace them. This decision is a difficult one to make. Ash tree size, location, condition and function should all be considered.

Siebenthaler’s has a team of knowledgable horticulturalists and ISA Certified Arborists that can educate and assist you in dealing with “the green menace.”  We can effectively treat for Emerald Ash Borers, along with many other insects and diseases using the most effective and environmentally friendly treatments available. We offer a full site consultation to help you with any plant questions for $75, but until the end of July we are offering free Emerald Ash Borer treatment estimates. The best decision you can make is an educated one, so visit the following sites for the most up to date information on the EAB. www.ashalert.osu.edu  www.emeraldashborer.info www.siebenthaler.com.

Thanks for thinking of Siebenthaler’s for your landscaping needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and Happy Gardening to You!

Sincerely,
